Finalist in South Florida Folk Festival Songwriting Competition Podcast

Is there anything wrong with being in Florida in January? Not in my book. That just one reason I'm excited to report that I've been named a finalist in the 2017 South Florida Folk Festival Songwriting Competition. I'll be performing the two songs I entered from my new album KOL ISHA (A Woman's Voice) — "Lilith" and "I Could Have Sworn" — at the festival the weekend of January 28/29. I'm particularly tickled because I'll already be in Florida at that time, so I'll be able to just get in the car and head to Fort Lauderdale!

Another reason I'm excited is that I'm in terrific company: Some of my friends who are also finalists include Austin MacRae, Brian Kalinec and Jane Fallon
