Jack Hardy -- songwriter, musician, raconteur, and mentor to legions of kindred writers at his weekly songwriters' exchange meetings and at festivals from New York to Texas -- passed from this life in 2011, but we still celebrate his legacy with new songs each week at the home of Kathryn Bloss, who also organizes our yearly concerts in the lovely De Colores Community Yard. I'll be among a host of songwriters including Paul Sachs, Michelle Shocked, David Massengill, Ina May Wool, Sharon Goldman, Bev Grant, Chris Fuller, John Hodel, Frank Mazzetti, and Kathryn Bloss playing tunes in the garden from 1-6PM.
